• Do not wear loose long hair, loose clothing or jewellery, which could become caught up in
moving parts of the tool and cause injuries and clothing damages.
• A switched-on tool may be directed towards the work material only. Loose parts may disunite
and cause damages. A person or an object may become in contact with the tool, which could
cause an accident or material loses.
• Cold or wet hands, smoking and snivel may increase vibration caused hazards.
• Let the tool operate and by holding the handle use the least possible force. If possible, the tool
should be supported on a stable support block.
• Interruption of work should be ensured or another kind of work, not involving use of vibrating
tools should be alternatively performed, in order to reduce the harmful influence caused by the
vibration.
• Ensure that the workplace is well lit
Important information
Tools must be lubricated
Always ensure that the machine is lubricated with air tool AIRTOIL 22 (Luna nr 15531-0105).
Unscrew the oil screw (Pos.10) and add oil until the sight glass (Pos. 8) is completely full. Then
retighten the screw (Pos. 10). If oil is decreasing in the sight glass it shall immediately be refilled
until it is full again. If the toll is not used for a longer period of time the sight glass shall always
be full in order to reduce corrosion risk.
Leakages must be avoided.
Avoid leakages in the air circulation system. Always use a thread sealing tape at the point where
the pipe is connected to the tool. Pay attention that hoses and hose fastening clamps are in good
working order.
The compressed air must be dry.
As cleaner and dryer the compressed air is, the longer is service life of the tool. In order to
ensure it, we recommend use of Luna air filter, which removes water from the compressed
air, accordingly reducing eventual damages of the tool and connections caused by corrosion.
Remember to remove eventual water condensate from the compressor and the compressed air
supply system before each working day.
Remember!

• Assemble in the air inlet (Pos. 7) a nipple 1/4" outlet thread.
• Under no circumstances a defective saw or saw blade can be used as it may cause injuries and
material loses.
• Remember that different saw blades with appropriate saw teeth must be selected for different
working materials. Use a saw blade with more teeth for treatment of solid materials and a
saw with fewer teeth for treatment of soft materials. Make sure that the saw blade (Pos.1) is
correctly assembled and properly secured in the saw blade holder (Pos. 3). Use only the saw
blades specially designed for use with the air saw.
• Assembly of the saw blade – The tool must always be disconnected from the compressed air
supply. It will help you to secure yourself against pressing the lever (Pos. 5) and startup of the
tool unintentional. Loosen the outer hexagonal screw (Pos. 4) of the saw blade holder (Pos. 3).
Install the saw blade (Pos. 1) with its teeth directed downwards. Press the saw blade in the saw
blade holder as far as it goes so the steel under the screw of the saw blade holder land in the
guide hole of the saw blade and fix the saw blade. Then tighten both screws of the saw blade
holder by use of an appropriate hexagonal spanner.
• Use the saw guide (Pos. 2) as a support when sawing all time it is possible. This to reduce the
vibrations, increase the life time of the saw blade and obtain a better cut surface.
• During operation of the tool, the saw blade must always be directed against the working mate-
rial. In case of operation of the tool in idle running with lifted saw blade, the saw blade may
disunite from the tool and cause injuries or material loses.
• Never press the saw against the working material with greater or less power than required.
Remember that the tool may not be pressed or turned sideward as in that case the saw blade
may lose its efficiency and might easily get broken. The saw blade is most efficient when it is
athwart directed against the working material.
• Check air pressure and, if necessary, adjust it so that the tool would operate at the required
pressure and rotation per minute. Adjustment of the pressure is performed by use of the com-
pressor or separately installed pressure regulator and adjustment of the rotation speed is per-
formed by use of a separately fitted air supply regulator (not included in the standard supply).
Specification of the tool complies at 6.2 bar pressure.
• Always be careful when using the saw. A negligent attitude towards the tool may cause dama-
ges of the internal parts and housing fractures. It may result in reduction of the tool efficiency
and the tool may loose its value.
• Always use the support handle (Pos. 9) of the machine wich is protected from vibrations and
ease handling of the machine and counteracts vibration injuries.
Check-out: Lubricating is important in order to reduce noise and vibration level. In case of
continuous use of the tool is should be cleaned and checked at least 2 times a year.
