be activated in the hob's settings menu. Once the hob is emitting a signal, activate the hood's
connectivity in the hood's settings menu. A message will appear that must be validated after
ensuring that the hood has been connected successfully. Next, the hood control icon (3) will
appear on the bottom right-hand part of the hob's screen.
Once the connection has been established, the hood can be controlled through the hob in
Manual mode or in AUTO mode.
Manual Mode:
This enables you to adjust the power levels of the fan and the light. It also enables you to pause
the fan's operation or start a "timer" process.
AUTO mode:
The hob automatically controls the hood and calculates the power levels of the extractor fan
based on the power levels of the different cooking zones. The light will continue working even
in manual mode. If you adjust the hood values manually from the hob, the mode automatically
changes to Manual.
To alternate between Manual and AUTO mode, press the (17) button on the bottom left-hand
part of the control screen for the hood on the hob. If the values are adjusted manually on the
hood or you turn it off while it is connected to the hob, the selected setting will stay the same
for 5 minutes before reverting back to those set by the hob. If the hood had been turned off, it
will turn on again after 5 minutes.
EXTERNAL SENSOR:
The external temperature sensor is a temperature measuring device that connects to the hob
via Bluetooth and sends the temperature of the cooking liquid to the hob so that it can regulate
the power in order to keep it stable.
First, ensure that the external sensor's battery is charged and close to the induction hob. The
sensor has a Mini-USB input with which you can connect the cable to charge the battery.
To connect the external sensor, press the "Settings" icon (7) on the side menu. In the
"Connectivity" section, the "Bluetooth Devices" option must be activated and the "Temperature
Sensor" option selected. Press the external sensor power button and the sensor's LED will
flash green until the hob and sensor are connected. Then, the LED will remain stable (green,
amber, or red depending on the battery level). When the sensor is connected to the hob, the
"external sensor" icon (18) will appear on the lower left-hand corner of the screen, along with
the sensor's battery level indicator. When in use, the sensor's LED will be off as long as the
battery power is 15% or higher. Press the sensor's ON/OFF button to see the battery level based
on the LED colour:
Red: 0% - 20%
Amber: 20% - 50%
Green: 50% - 100%
