AFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Power connection
Only connect the appliance to an easily
accessible 230 V ~ 50 Hz socket
The DC output of the mains adapter may only be
connected to the DC socket on the player.
Use only the mains adapter supplied. Never try to
connect the mains adapter to other connectors as
this may cause damage.

Charging the batteries
Only charge NiCd re chargeable batteries, size AA,
LR6.
Never attempt to charge non rechargeable
batteries – they may explode!
Never undertake your own repairs
If the plug, cable or unit is damaged, pull the mains
plug immediately.
Never try to open and/or repair the appliance
yourself. There is a risk of electric shock. If there is
a defect contact our Service Centre or other
suitable specialist workshop service.
CD player
The CD player is a first class laser product. The
device has a safety system that prevents dangerous
laser rays escaping from the device during normal
use. In order to avoid injury to the eyes never
manipulate or damage the unit's security system.
Dispose of batteries in an environmentally appropriate way
Do not put defective NiCd rechargeables or used
batteries in the household rubbish. Batteries should
be deposited at a collection point for used batteries.
