7.3.1. Communication for the direct self consumption kit
In direct self consumption kit installations, the inverter must communicate with a wattmeter. In order to establish
this communication via RS-485, the corresponding accessory included in the self consumption kit must be
installed, .as shown in the following figure
After making the wiring connections, it will leave the unit via a coupling installed in the wiring hole for the
accessories.
7.4. Connecting the potential-free auxiliary relay
These inverters have a potential-free output which can have several functions:
•
Closing the relay in the event of an insulation fault (default option).
•
Closing the relay in the event of a grid, voltage or frequency out of range alarm.
•
Closing the relay in the event of any alarm in the inverter.
•
Closing the relay upon connection of the inverter to the grid.
•
Closing the relay if the power sent to the grid by the inverter exceeds the power setpoint parameter. The
relay can act so that a specific charge is sent to the grid.
To connect the volt-free relay, keep in mind the relay's characteristics:
This device is connected using a conduit with at least two poles.
