Exceeding the limits of the range
indication
Ranges up to a maximum of 199 m or 199 ft
can be shown in the LC Display of the flash
unit. With high ISO values and large aperture
openings, the display range in feet (ft) setting
can be exceeded. This is indicated by flashing
of the 199 ft text.

Faults and remedies, customer service

It is a good idea to look through the following
information before contacting the Customer Ser-
vice:
Problem:
The flash unit does not trigger.
Diagnostic question:
Does the flash-ready indication (6) light up?
• No:
- Is the flash unit switched on?
- Has the flash unit switched itself off auto-
matically?
- Have the batteries / rechargeable been in-
serted with correct polarity?
- Are the batteries / rechargeable batteries full
or charged?
• Yes:
- Switch on flash mode on the camera!
- Make sure that the flash unit is correctly in-
serted in the camera's accessory shoe!
