Using the oscillatory measuring method means that the systolic and diasystolic blood pressures and
pulses are measured. All measured values can be seen in the LCD display. Measurements are carried
out on the wrist.
attaching the pressure cuff
1. Wrap the measuring cuff around your wrist. Hold your palm facing up-
wards (Fig. 21). The display of the unit should be placed on the palm
side of the wrist.
2. The wrist should be bare. Ensure that the velcro strip is around
0.5 - 1 cm below the start of the base of the thumb (Fig. 22).
fasten the pressure cuff snugly
1. Do not pull on the pressure cuff (Fig. 23).
2. Do not make the pressure cuff too tight. Secure the velcro band
(Fig. 24).
