Kit for the disinfection of the resins, consisting of titanium
electrodes that produce chlorine, activated from the solution by
electrolysis of sodium chloride, also known as brines.
Chlorine is an important chemical used in water purification. It is
used as a bactericide (HClO hypochlorous acid, sodium
hypochlorite NaClO, sodium chlorite NaClO2) in drinking water
and swimming pools. Even small deposits of 'drinking water are
usually treated with the drug.
During regeneration at the time of 'suction, brine, in contact with
titanium electrodes it produces active chlorine, which disinfects
the permeating through the resins.
