Control air

NOTE
Do not block the vent holes!
In versions with the FC/FO function, the vent hole protected with the green reducing plug (1)
must not be damaged or blocked, as this would obstruct the movements of the actuator.
The control air connections are marked with labels (2) which identify the connection
concerned. In the above example, control air connection A is open, so this a pneumatic
actuator with FC function (fail safe to close).
Control air is supplied through the free control connection A (FC and FO function) or through
both control connections A and B (DA function).
8 Startup
 Select a suitable control pressure, see Section 6 "Technical specifications", Page 36.
 Check the ball valve and connections for leaktightness.
