Introduction
The VS800™ scanner from PSC
code scanning in a small housing to save counter space. With the multiple
mounting options, operators can adjust the scanner to create a convenient,
comfortable, and productive work environment.
The VS800™ scanner's design minimizes the need for user training and accepts
"presentation" and "sweep" scanning. The aggressive, omnidirectional scan pat-
tern minimizes the need to adjust or orient individual items. The scanner is vir-
tually maintenance free. Periodic cleaning of the scanner and the scan window
is all that's required.
This Quick Reference Guide provides an overview of the scanner operation.
For more detailed information about setup, installation and programming, see
the User's Guide and Programming Kit included in PDF format on the PSC
Manuals CD. These manuals are also available for download from the PSC
website (http://www.pscnet.com). Print manuals may be ordered from your
PSC representative (see back cover for contact information).
