To this end, operate the foot switch, adjust the spherical shell
in the desired position and release the pedal.

MaIntenanCe/Care

In order to clean the device, the milling unit must be switched
on at the main switch CS. The slight atmospheric overpressure
prevents fine particles from entering under the rails of the
scanning/milling unit while cleaning is taking place! Keep dry
when cleaning or, if necessary, use only a slightly moist
microfibre cloth.
Aspirate the spherical shells after each milling round using the
end of the aspiration hose.
The spherical shells should generally remain in their place and
not be taken out without need. Whenever the spherical shells
are taken from the table for cleaning, it is important to keep
down the pedal of the foot switch. This will result in slight
overpressure preventing circumjacent dust from falling into
the half-shells. Moreover, before taking out the shells, sur-
rounding dust should be removed, and vacuum should not be
applied before the spherical shells are back in their places
again. If dust should happen to get into the hoses of the foot
switch nevertheless, take off the damper from the foot pedal
and blow out the hoses with pressurized air after detaching
them from the basis.
CaUtIOn! Do not evaporate or clean with pressurized air or
aggressive solvents. Improper manipulations and repairs can
affect the built-in security and protection features of the
milling unit and thus result in injury to persons and damage
to the machine!
