4.0 Troubleshooting

Fault
A drawer does not open
None of the drawers
of a carcass open
(the operating indicator
light on the power
supply unit is on)
None of the carcasses
within a power supply
chain are working
(the operating indicator
light on the power
supply unit is not on)

Cause
There is no springloaded front buffer installed
which facilitates the necessary trigger path.
Drawer is blocked, e.g. by the stored contents
The drawer rear panel is bent backwards
The opening unit is temporarily or permanently
de-energised or the opening unit is defective
=> Check the LED light
Green: Power supply OK,
a) Flashing red: opening unit temporarily
inoperative,
b) Red: opening unit defective,
c) Blank display: Power supply interrupted or
opening unit defective.
Connecting cable has no contact
Connection cable is defective
Traverse cable is not installed correctly
The mains cable is not correctly connected to
the power supply unit or is defective
The power socket used has no power
The power supply unit is defective
Remedy
Fit springloaded front buffers into the front
fase;
Front height up to 300 mm: 1 unit per side,
front height of more than 300 mm: 2 units
per side
Remove obstructing item
Unbend the drawer rear panel
a) Wait 3 minutes,
b) Switch system off and on again or replace
opening unit – see chapter 5.0: Replacement
c) Reinstall opening unit in a slightly offset posi-
tion or replace it – see chapter 5.0: Replacement
Check that the plug of the connecting cable is
securely connected
Replace connecting cable
Check frame cable is in the correct position
and adjust if required
Check that the mains cable is secure or
replace it
– Switch on power at socket
– Use a different power socket
– Check the fuses
– Replace power supply unit
