CLEANING PROCEDURE

5000 Series Quick Reference Guide
While cleaning is not required for the normal operation of these printers,
should cleaning be desired the following steps are suggested:
Do not use any cleaning solutions!!!
1. Turn the power switch off. The power switch is located on the rear
panel of the printer.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the AC source.
3. With the cover open note the current setting, than turn the print gap
wheel to the LOAD position. Refer to Top View illustration in Step 2,
page 12, for location of the print gap adjust knob on the 5180 model.
