SETUP OVERVIEW
• Unfold folding support units and adjust to desired height
• Install pin connectors onto folding supports (required only
for initial setup, since pin connectors remain on folding
supports)
• Install decks onto pin connectors; decks are reversible;
ensure that desired surface is up. This may be required
only for the initial setup since decks store on the folding
supports. The folding support with a complete set of pin
connectors and two decks is referred to as a master unit.
• Repeat as required for the setup.
• Position master units in rows and columns near their
desired locations.
• Install bridge bars; install connectors between adjacent
folding supports, if required.
• Install bridged decks. Bridge bars are mandatory for
bridging between sides of adjacent master units.
• Attach accessories, including guardrails, step
assemblies, ramp and drapes.
ASSEMBLING MASTER UNITS
A master unit consists of a folding support unit, a set of pin
connectors and two decks. The folding supports can be
moved on their casters in both the folded and unfolded
positons, so complete this work in the most convenient
location.
• Unfold the folding support unit
• With one person on each side, pull out on the bottom
cross member of the folding support frame and push on
the upper frame cross member. Pull on the bottom frame
member. Do not pull on decks, if decks are installed on
the folding support unit to ensure the decks do not pull
off of their pin connectors.
• Warning: See pinch point warning. With one person on
each end, both people simultaneously push down on the
handle (A) on each end until the tabs (B) on the folding
linkages contact the opposite link.
• The safety latch (C) will automatically drop into place.
• While rarely necessary, it is possible to adjust the glides
on the four legs of the folding support; use the special
thin head 1-1/8" wrench provided.
