Adjustthe drivecontrolcableif theyard vacuumdoes not self propel
with the drivecontrolengaged,or if the unithesitateswhilethe engine
maintainsthe same speedafterapproximately 20 hoursof use.
Tomovethe z-fittingof the drivecontrolcablefrom its factory set
positionin the front hole of the drivecontrolto the rear hole,proceed
as follows:
1.
Pushthe rightsideof thecontrol outof the righthole in the upper
handle.See Figure22A.
2.
Pivotcontroldowntowardsthe lowerhandle.
3.
Pivotstraightup to removeit from the left hole in the upper
handle.See Figure22A.
4.
Thereis nowsufficientslackin the drivecontrolcableto graspthe
z-fittingwith yourhand and moveit from the front holeto the rear
hole of the drivecontrol.See Figure22B.
IMPORTANT: M akesureto insertthe z-fittingintothe rearhole as
it was insertedin the front hole,that is fromthe outside of the drive
control.
5.
Youmay nowcarefullyreinstallthe drivecontrolby performingthe
previoussteps in the oppositeorder and mannerof removal.
IMPORTANT: O nceassembledand priorto restarting,makesurethat
the cableis properlyadjusted.With the drivecontroldisengaged, t he
unit shouldfreely pull in reverse.
