The model name and important technical charac-
teristics of the kitchen hood are specified inside
the case.
Security measures
The kitchen hood is connected to the power net-
work with the voltage of 220/240 V – 50 Hz, using
a wall outlet with earthing only. The kitchen hood
has 1 electrocution protection class.
Use the light bulbs with the voltage no higher
than specified in the Instructions.
It is forbidden to operate the kitchen hood with-
out an aluminum grease filter.
The air from the kitchen hood should be removed
to the air shaft only (its removal to the chimney is
strictly forbidden).
SAFETY OF CHILDREN
Children often do not understand the danger of
electrical appliances. While the kitchen hood is
functioning, watch your children and do not al-
low them to work with it. Packaging materials
(such as polyethylene film) may cause suffoca-
tion. Keep them out of reach of children
COOKER HOOD DESCRIPTION
On the exterior the fully assembled cooker hood is
comprised of the following parts (see Fig. 1):
1. Control panel
2. Cooker hood body (front)
3. Multiple-use aluminium grease filter
4. Light bulbs protective glass
5. External decorative chimney
6. Internal decorative chimney
Inside the cooker hood body the following parts
can be found (after removing the aluminium grease
filters) (see Fig. 2):
1. Motor case (together with the motor and fan as-
sembly) ;
2. Junction box;
3. Lamps.

KITCHEN HOODS
There is a push button type control panel for
switching the fan speeds and turning on the lights
in the centre of the front panel of the cooker hood
PATRICIA push button.
Its elements have the following functions (see
Fig. 3):
1. Turning the motor off
2. First fan speed
3. Second fan speed
4. Third fan speed
5. Light on/off
You can choose the most suitable extraction speed
of the cooker hood by pushing the buttons on the
control panel. To turn the cooker hood on press the
button of your chosen fan speed. To change the fan
speed press the necessary button without turning
the previous speed off. Press the "1" button to turn
the motor off.
The lights can be turned on and off independently
from the operation of the motor.
To guarantee the correct operation of the cooker
hood it is necessary to clean the aluminium grease
filter regularly (see COOKER HOOD MAINTE-
NANCE section).
Additional accessories for the cooker hood include:
- charcoal filters (Fig. 4) (not included in the set).
The charcoal filters are used for air filtration in a
room when the cooker hood is used in the recircu-
lation mode. They can be purchased from cooker
hood retailers.
The kitchen hood is to be used for extraction of
smells from the kitchen. It may work in two modes
depending on the method of its installation:
— mode of air removal into the air shaft;
— recirculation mode.
