Electrical connection

The electrical connection is to be made via a
socket outlet with earthing contact providing
220-240 V and 50-60 Hz. This socket outlet must
be located close to the furnace and be easily
accessible.
When using an extension cord or a multiple socket
outlet, do not exceed the respective max. electri-
cal load rating.
WARNING:
The mains cable may not be damaged!
▷ Do not place objects on the mains cable.
▷ Lay the mains cable in such a manner that
nobody can step on or trip over it.
NOTE:
Do not insert the mains plug before the heating
elements have been inserted.
▷ Set the mains switch to the 0 position.
▷ Connect the enclosed mains cable to the socket
intended for this purpose on the rear of the fur-
nace.

▷ Connect the other end of the cable to the socket
outlet with earthing contact.
The mains cable may only be exchanged by an
approved identical one.
