3.5.3 Mode Sub-menu (Cont.)
Average Piece Weight (APW) Optimization
Refer to Section 3.3.2 for information on APW
Optimization. To set APW Optimization On or Off,
Count must be SET ON in the Mode Sub-menu.
Press Yes to display the APW setting as either
SET ON or SET OFF. Press Yes to accept the
displayed setting and return to the Mode Sub-
menu, or No to go to the other setting. The default
setting is SET ON.
Percent
To set the Percent Mode On or Off, go to Percent
in the Mode Sub-menu. Press Yes to display the
Percent setting, or press No to go to the next
item in the Mode Sub-menu. Percent Weigh is
either SET ON or SET OFF. Press No to go to the
other setting. Press Yes to accept the displayed
setting and return to the Mode Sub-menu. The
default setting is OFF.
End Mode Menu
When END MOD is displayed, press Yes to exit
the Mode Sub-menu and go to the Unit Sub-
menu, or press No to return to the first Menu
Item in the Mode Sub-menu.

3.5.4 Unit Sub-menu

The Adventurer SL can be configured to measure
in a variety of units, including custom units. The
Unit Sub-menu is used to enable or disable a
specific unit. Refer to Section 5.3 for a complete
list of units of measure.
From Menu, press and release No until UNIT
displays. Press Yes to enter the Unit Sub-menu.
The unit is indicated by a small character next
to Unit in the display. For example, grams is
shown as g.
