Setting to work
After having read these instructions
carefully, you can set your pump to
work, reconsidering the following
items:
G Check if the pump rests on the
ground of the shaft.
G Check of pressure cord has
been attached properly .
G Check if electrical connection is
230 V ~ 50 Hz.
G Check if socket is in good
condition.
G Make sure that water and humi-
dity can never come to the
mains supply.
G Avoid pump running dry.

Maintenance guidelines
This submersible pump is an
approuved, maintenance-free high
quality product, which is subject to
severe final controls.
We recommend, regular inspection
and maintenance to ensure long
equipment life and uninterrupted
operation.
Important! Note!
G Remove the mains plug before
all maintenance work.
G In the event that the pump is
often transported in the course of
operation, it should be
cleaned out with clear water after
every use.
G In case of stationary installation,
the function of the loating switch
should be checked every 3
months.
G All fibrous particles which may
have built-up inside the pump
housing should be removed with
a water jet.
G In the case of excessive deposits
in the pump casing, the lower
part of the pump must be disas-
sembled as described below:
1. Release the four bolts (1) from
the bottom of the pump.
Causes
– No mains supply
– Floater does not switch
– Inlet sieve is clogged
– Pressure hose in bent
– Floater cannot sink down
– Inlet sieve is clogged
– Reduced pumping capacity by
dirty and abrasive water
– Thermal cutout stops pumps
due to dirty water
– Water too hot. Thermal-cutout
stops pump

2. Push the clamps (2) to the out-
side.
3. Remove the baseplate (3).
4. Pull out the suction cover (4).
Now you can clean the paddle
wheel using pure water.
Two packing rings (5) are still within
the pump casing. Please make
sure that they are not lost during
cleaning.
Attention: Do not deposit or rest the
pump on the paddle wheel!
For assembly, reverse disassembly
procedure.
G Every 3 months the shaft
ground and as should be
cleaned from mud.
G Remove deposits on the floater
with clear water.
Remedies
– Check mains supply
– Bring floater in a higher
position
– Clean inlet sieve water jet
– Reset hose
– Place pump properly on shaft
ground
– Clean inlet sieve
– Clean pump and replace
worn-out parts
– Remove mains plug. Clean
pump and shaft
– Maximum temperature is
35° C. Please regard!
