Using North American dialing
To begin a number with the North American or the stored
1.
International Dialing Code, from a Home panel, touch
Touch and hold the 0 key until a plus sign (+) displays.

Enter the Country Code and the number, then touch

International dialing
With North American dialing disabled, you can store another
International Dialing Code. This simplifies using your phone to
dial international numbers when in a country not part of the North
American Dialing Plan.

From the Home screen, press
settings
North American dialing. When disabled, the
check mark disdisplays from the check box, and
International dialing becomes enabled.
Touch International dialing. The International dialing pop-up

displays.
Enter or change the current International Dialing Code,

then touch OK.

Auto retry
When enabled, your phone will automatically re-attempt a call
when it encounters a network busy signal.
From the Home screen, press

settings.
Touch Auto retry to enable or disable automatic call retry.

When enabled, a check mark displays in the check box.
TTY mode
When enabled, TTY Mode allows your phone to work with a TTY
device attached to the Headset Jack. Before using your phone
with a TTY device, you'll need to enable TTY Mode.

From the Home screen, press

TTY mode. You are prompted to enable or
disable TTY mode.
To enable TTY mode, touch Yes, then touch TTY Off, TTY

Full, TTY HCO (TTY + Hear), or TTY VCO (TTY + Talk).
Voice privacy
When enabled, Voice privacy encrypts your voice calls for
enhanced privacy.
