1. Fold up the floor panel (1) in front of the adapter.
2. Tightly screw the adapter to the vehicle floor with the four original screws (2) removed earlier using
an appropriate screw locking device (not included in the installation kit). (SW15 adapter).
Take note of the markings!
Torque:
3. Fold the floor panel back down in its original position.
Important note:
During the installation of the adapter ensure that neither the cable nor the air lines get squashed or
trapped.
If you have to move the adapter in the tunnel direction in order to screw it in place, press the air
hose gently together so that you can tighten up the screws.
Warning!
Ensure that you neither exceed nor fall short of the torque listed above.
If the torque is insufficient, the screws will work loose whilst you are driving. The thread might be
damaged if the torque is too high. The risk of an accident and being injured whilst driving exists in
both cases.
The vehicle must be stopped immediately if a screw works loose and the screws must be replaced
by new screws and tightened up to the stipulated torque with the screw locking device.
