IMPORTANT NOTE:
A DDNS server other than URMETDDNS can be used. Select from the available options in
the list. See the instructions on the user manual of the device and those of the DDNS quick
guide ("DDNS Configuration Guide it_en") which can be downloaded from the Urmet
website for more information.
At this point, save changes by clicking on [Apply], quit the OSD menu of the DVR and restart the device at the prompt.
Wait for the device to reboot.

information on the network menu and the mobile phone and the Internet configuration menu.

WEB INTERFACE DVR ACCESSING VIA IP ADDRESS, URL OR URMET DDNS ACCOUNT

Follow the instructions for configuring and accessing the web pages of the device on Internet Explorer. The web can be
accessed in three ways:
Direct access via LAN: start Internet Explorer and enter the IP address of the DVR and the HTTP port of the

DVR on the address bar as follows: http://IP Address:HTTP Port (e.g. http://192.168.36.40:85). If the HTTP port
of the DVR is 80, only the IP address of the DVR needs to be entered as follows: http://IP Address (e.g.
http://192.168.36.40).
Direct access via URMET DDNS web portal: start Internet Explorer and enter the address of the URMET portal

on the address bar:
Direct Internet access with URL of other DDNS accounts: start Internet Explorer and enter the URL address and
o
HTTP port associated to the DVR on the address bar (e.g. http://urmetvcc.no-ip.org:81). If the HTTP port of the
DVR is 80, only the URL of the DVR needs to be entered as follows: http://IP Address (e.g.
ip.org).
1. If the Device has got the Urmet digital signature, select "Allow" on pop-up message displayed on IE Web
Page in order to continue the Active X installation and go to Point 3 in order to login.
2. Instead If Active X installation component is requested, check that this occurs as follows:

Select "Tools → → → → Internet Options" in the menu in the Internet Explorer window.
