• Lever C (Fig. 1) operates the front derailleur, dropping the chain onto the next lowest
chainring. Derailleur shifts to smaller chainrings are performed by pulling the lever by
1 clicks in a single movement.
• Once the chain is on the smaller chainring, lever B (Fig. 1) or C (Fig. 1) of the left hand
control set may be pulled by 1 click to attain more precise alignment between the chain
and the derailleur cage.
RIGHT HAND CONTROL SET
• Lever B (Fig. 1) on the right hand control set operates the rear derailleur, lifting the
chain onto the next highest sprocket.
• Lever C (Fig. 1) on the right hand control set operates the rear derailleur, dropping the
chain onto the next lowest sprocket.
• The levers B (Fig. 1) and C (Fig. 1) on the right hand control set may be pulled by
multiple clicks in succession to lift the chain by up to 3 sprockets or lower by up to 1
sprocket in a single movement.
CAUTION
It is important that operation of the internal (C - Fig. 1) and external (B - Fig. 1) lever
takes place at distinctly separate times, taking care to ensure that, when one lever
is operated, no pressure is applied on the other, even involuntarily. Simultaneous
operation of both the levers may cause damage to the internal bushing, resulting in
the loss of Ergopower functionality.
