 Due to safety reasons it is prohibited to make unauthorized modifications to the unit.
Important: Never look directly into the light source! Don't use the effect in the presence of persons suffering
from epilepsy.
DESCRIPTION:
1. RGB PROJECTORS: can be manually directed in any direction
2. MAINS INPUT WITH FUSEHOLDER + MAINS LINK OUTPUT:
Mains Input: Connect the supplied mains cable here.
Important: Always replace the fuse by a model with exactly the same specifications !
Mains output: you can use a special IEC male/female power cable (or a JB Systems Combi
Cable) to connect this output with the mains input of the next Party Beams unit for easier linking
3. HANGING BRACKET: with 2 knobs to fasten the unit in the desired angle and a mounting hole to fix a
mounting hook
4. DMX INPUT: 3pin male XLR-connector used to connect universal DMX-cables. This input receives
instructions from a DMX-controller (in DMX mode) or from the Master bar (in Master/Slave mode).
5. SAFETY EYE: here you can attach the optional safety cable
6. DMX OUTPUT: 3pin female XLR-connector used to connect the PARTY BEAMS with the next unit in the
DMX chain.
7. DISPLAY: shows all the necessary information about settings and working modes.
8. POWER LED: is on when the bar in connected to the mains
9. MUSIC LED: flashes when sound is detected. Use the sensitivity knob (11) to set the desired level.
10. INTERNAL MICROPHONE: is used to synchronize the sound controlled shows to the beat of the music.
You can set the sensitivity of this microphone by adjusting the sensitivity knob (11)
11. SENSITIVITY KNOB: turn this knob anti-clockwise to decrease the sensitivity or turn it clockwise to
increase the sensitivity of the integrated microphone. Try to make the setting so the sound controlled
programs react to the beat of the music and not to the surrounding noise.
12. MODE BUTTON: used to select the different menu items
13. ENTER BUTTON: used to confirm your choice
14. DOWN BUTTON: to go back in the menu and to lower the values shown on the display
15. UP BUTTON: to go up in the menu and to increase the values shown on the display
