Performing a test run
When making changes to or replacing individual components (controller B-54900-01-4-9,
ATTENTION
motor-driven shoot-bolt lock B-1993x or connection cable B 5490 0300) you must
perform a test run!
Open the door and make sure it cannot be closed accidentally.
Then put the controller into programming mode. Any existing blink codes must be acknowledged
(see 6.3) before a test run can be carried out.
Send a control signal on control input I2 to trigger the test run. The motor-driven shoot-bolt lock
performs a complete travel cycle at slow speed.
If no errors occur during the test run, the red LED at the controller B-54900-01-4-9 lights up and the
signal contact 1 "Locked by motor" closes.
If an error occurs, the controller outputs corresponding blink codes (see 5.1).
You can operate the door by removing the service plug to exit the programming mode.
