Close the battery compartment cover and lock it carefully
with the two screws.
Secure the transmitter to the transmitter bracket again.
Hold the magnet against the recess on the transmitter
(see figure 1, page 2).
Disassembly
Disconnecting the sensor rod from the trans-
mitter
Undo the union nut from the transmitter socket by turning
it anti-clockwise and remove the plug connection.
Screw the socket protection cap onto the socket to pro-
tect it against dirt.
Retrieving the sensor rod from the soil
Remove as much soil as necessary to be able to grip the
sensor rod and pull it out of the soil.
NOTE
Risk of damage!
The use of tools or pulling on the cables may destroy
the sensor rod. Do not use tools and do not pull on the
cables in order to remove the sensor rod from the soil.
Detaching the transmitter from the transmitter
bracket
Take the Sicherungs cap off and remove the cable tie.
Pull the transmitter bracket out of the ground.
Maintenance and servicing
Maintenance and cleaning
The monitoring station does not require maintenance.
Remove any dirt from the monitoring station using a suitable
brush.
NOTE
Risk of damage!
Penetrating water or chemicals may damage or de-
stroy the monitoring station. Do not use chemicals or
pressure washers. Clean the monitoring station using dry
means only.

Decommissioning and storage
For the purpose of decommissioning, disassemble the moni-
toring station; see "Disassembly", page 14.
Store the monitoring station in the storage conditions set out
in the technical data, see "Technical data", page 12.
Returning the device
The monitoring station is the property of Bosch
Software Innovations GmbH.
The monitoring station cannot remain in your
possession after the end of the contract. You
must not dispose of the monitoring station.
This also applies to defective monitoring sta-
tions. You will receive further information from
Deepfield Connect about how to return the de-
vice at the end of the contract.
According to the European Guideline 2012/19/EU for Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment, electric devices that are
no longer usable, and according to the European Guideline
2006/66/EC, defective or used battery packs/batteries,
must be collected separately and disposed of in an environ-
mentally correct manner.
