The longer the gradient (near to 15°C), the more
gradually the heat exchange coils are supplied with
water. Drawback: reaching the temperature setpoint will
be very slow.
The shorter the gradient (near to 1°C), the more rapidly
the heat exchange coils are supplied with water.
Drawback: the system is similar to On/Off control.
