The 0-10 V output (valve) goes active 30 seconds after the fan is turned on.
Fresh air operation
Fresh air operation
Reminder: if fresh air control is used, it is advisable to have one slave unit for each HELIOTHERME unit so
that each protects the heat exchange coil from frost.
When fresh air mode is activated and the control is on (either by setting 26 or the state of the time schedule
(CFo), the damper actuator (supplied with the optional fresh air kit) is open.
When the contact available on terminals 1-2 is open for more than 5 seconds, i.e. the frost protection
thermostat (supplied with the optional fresh air kit) has detected a risk:
- the master controller displays a frost fault message indicating the relevant HELIOTHERME unit;
- the return spring closes the damper actuator; the system operates with a maximum of return air (the level
varies with the damper actuator's mechanical setting);
- the 0-10 V delivered by terminal 11 is at maximum (according to settings 19 and 21); the valve actuator
opens the heat exchanger's water supply.
- the three-phase fan motor assembly downshifts to low speed in order to reduce the heat transfer across the
coil whilst continuing to heat the room.
