One 3-phase HELIOTHERME 4000 unit driven by one 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave unit
Master controller power supply:
The 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave unit delivers 12 V to the
master controller via terminals 18 and 19. The master
controller must be connected to the S and 12 V terminals.
Communication between the master controller and
the 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave unit:
The setpoint signals are sent by terminals A and B on
the master controller. The slave unit receives these
setpoint signals on terminals 20 and 21 on the internal
controller.
Room sensor:
The sensor head is prewired to the control box (T°C)
and attached to the cable gland on the hinged side.
Optional 15 m remote sensor (code 7207381). This
remote sensor may be connected to terminals 22 and
23 on the slave unit.

Three-phase fan motor assembly:
Before attempting to wire the connections, ALWAYS remove the jumper strips in the fan motor assembly's terminal box.
This will ensure that the control will operate correctly and that the fan motor assembly will run in the correct order.
Wire to motor contactors KVL1 and KVP1. The choice between the star (LS) or delta (HS) configuration will be selected
automatically based on the difference between the indoor temperature measured and the temperature setpoint(s)
entered.
Valve actuator:

Supplies water to the heat exchanger in proportion to
the building's heat requirements.
The valve actuator's 24 V power supply is delivered by
terminals 9 and 10 on the 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave unit.
The 0-10 V control signal is delivered by terminal 11 on
the 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave unit.
Changeover thermostat
(option 7128892)
Thermostat to be mounted on the water supply pipes
of each HELIOTHERME heat exchanger. Required for

terminal 5 on the 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave unit and the
black wire to terminal 6 on the 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave
unit.

V / ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:
Slave unit network power supply:
Connect the 3-ph/400 V supply with N and PE to the
disconnect switch Q1 between 1-3-5-7-PE.
Communication between the slave units:
Setpoint signals are sent between slave units via
terminals 20 and 21 on the internal controllers.
Motor overload protection:
Connect the fan motor assembly's overload protection to
terminals 3 and 4 on the slave unit.
Frost protection thermostat

Place the frost protection thermostat's bulb inside the 2-
channel mixing box with built-in filter. This component of
the optional fresh air kit will enable you to draw fresh air
indoors whilst preventing frost from forming on the heat
exchange coil.
Connect terminals 1 and 4 on the thermostat to terminals
1 and 2, respectively, on the 3-PH Eco+ BOX slave unit.
Fresh air/return air mixing box damper actuator
(option 0816423 included in fresh air kit B400414)
Install the damper actuator on the telescopic linkage on the
CIAT 2-channel mixing box with built-in filter. The damper's
minimum and maximum opening and closing positions are
adjusted mechanically. A spring returns the damper to its
initial position. This component of the optional fresh air kit
p
will enable you to draw fresh air indoors whilst preventing
frost from forming on the heat exchange coil.
Connect terminals 1 and 2 on the damper actuator to
terminals 7 and 8, respectively, on the 3-PH Eco+ BOX
slave unit.
