Final installation
Preparations
Turn float (M) of the filler valve upwards in order to allow the
full water quantity to enter the cistern, see Fig. [8].
Cistern A:
1. Detach overflow pipe (N5) from waste valve, then pull waste
valve out of cistern, see Fig. [9a].
2. Push float (N1) upwards, as per Fig. [10a].
3. Push residual flow slider (N2) downwards.
4. Turn waste valve through 180° and engage in cistern,
see Fig. [11a].
Caution: Do not turn the waste valve if the filler valve is
installed on the right.
5. Clamp hose (N3) in crossrail (O1) and cut off above the
crossrail, see Fig. [12a].
Cistern B:
1. Feed hoses (N4) under the crossrail (O2) and cut off above
the crossrail, see Fig. [12b].
Replacing a hose
1. Close shut-off device (P), see Fig. [13].
2. Replace existing hose (Q) with hose with elbow (Q1) (scope
of delivery).
3. Open shut-off device (P).
Fastening the lift rod
Cistern A:
1. Fasten lift rod (V1) to overflow pipe (N5) as per Fig. [14a].
2. Fasten overflow pipe (N5) to waste valve.
Cistern B:
1. Engage lift rod (V1) in overflow (V2), see Fig. [14b].
2. Replace existing overflow (W) with overflow with lift
rod (V1 + V2), inserting new overflow in the same position.
Caution: Do not use overflow (W).
Installing the frame
Cistern A:
1. Locate frame (R), align and fasten to the structural shell
protection using screws (S), see fold-out page III, Fig. [15a].
Cistern B:
1. Insert bolt (T) into cistern frame from rear until it engages
audibly, see Fig.[15b].
2. Cut bolt (T) to length as per Fig. [15b].
3. Screw on nuts (U).
4. Locate frame (R), threading extension cable through frame
in the process, see Fig. [15b].
5. Align frame and fasten using screws (S).
Installing the servo motor
1. Engage servo motor in bracket (X1), see Fig. [16].
Note: On 6-litre cistern, special accessory 43 617 must be
used.
Calibrating the servo motor
Caution: The servo motor must be calibrated outside the
cistern.
1. Connect the voltage supply: Connect electronic module (C1)
with the extension cable (L), see Fig. [17].
The servo motor must not be connected when performing
this operation.
The LED in the electronics begins to flash.
2. Connect servo motor (X) to electronic module (C1).
The LED in the electronics ceases to flash and adjustment
automatically starts once the servo motor has been
connected to the electronics. The servo motor moves to the
adjustment positions.
Caution: Ensure that the movement is not disrupted by
obstacles.
To prevent falsification of the servo motor adjustment, the lever
must not be removed.
Calibration has been completed when the lever is in the centre
position.
Caution: Do not disconnect the servo motor from the
electronic module following calibration.
Installing the servo motor
1. Disconnect the voltage supply: disconnect electronic
module (C1) from extension cable (L), see Fig. [18].
2. Engage servo motor (X) in crossrail (O) in cistern, see
Fig. [19].
Caution: The servo motor must be fastened to the side on
which the blue float of the waste valve is located.
3. Insert lift rod (V1) through the opening in lever (X2) from the
rear. If the servo motor is located on the left side of the
crossrail, insert lift rod (V1) through the opening in lever (X2)
from the front.
4. Connect the voltage supply: Connect electronic module (C1)
with the extension cable (L), see Fig. [20].
Setting mode is activated.
Installing the plate
1. Push the extension cable into the vacant tube until the plug
connection no longer protrudes into the cistern.
2. Insert plate (C) at top of frame (R), apply pressure and
engage at bottom by gently pushing downwards, see
Fig. [21].
3. Fasten plate (C) using locking screw (Y).

Making settings

Setting mode
The flow volume can be checked and changed in setting mode
(see Setting the flow volume).
The detection zone of the fitting can be checked. The indicator
lamp in the sensor system of the fitting illuminates in setting
mode when the detection zone of the fitting is reached by an
approaching user.
It is possible to set the detection zone via the optional remote
control.
Flushing is immediately triggered when the detection zone is
exited again. The minimum delay time of 7 s is not available in
setting mode.
To activate setting mode, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the power supply to the electronics and reconnect
after 5 s. The plug connection between the servo motor and
the electronics must not be detached.
Setting mode is activated.
Setting mode is automatically terminated after 3 min.
Setting the flow volume
The factory-set flow volume is 6 l.
The flow volume can be changed as follows:
1. Activate setting mode (see above).
2. Hold hand at a distance of approx. 5 - 10cm in front of the
sensor system in the fitting.
The indicator lamp in the sensor system of the fitting flashes
quickly.
3. After approx. 5 s, the indicator lamp extinguishes
automatically.
4. Remove hand from the detection zone (at least 90cm).
