ASSEMBLY
NOTICE!
The HDTH8 Gearboxes are shipped
WITHOUT OIL in the Gearboxes and must
be filled before connecting to the tractor
and placing in operation!
USE 85W / 90 GEAR OIL
Oil Filler/Vent Plug
Fill Check Plug
OIL FILL PROCEDURE
DO NOT OVER FILL GEARBOXES.
1. Remove the Oil Filler/Vent Plug on top the Gearbox.
2. Remove Fill Check Plug on the side of the Gearbox.
3. Add 85W/90 Gear Oil until it starts to run out of the Check Plug hole.
4. Allow enough time for the oil to seep into the lower housing and add additional oil if necessary.
5. Reinstall the vent plug and the check plug.
