STEP 3 – Axle Assembly
1. Secure the leaf spring mounting brackets (500259) in the square holes on each side of the trailer with the carriage bolt 3/8 x 3/4
(501036) and 3/8 lock nut (501031) using 9/16 socket; the round holes of the brackets should be oriented closest to the center.
2. Where there is no cross-channel at the fastening location of the mounting bracket use a 3/8 washer (501032) as a spacer.
3. Lay the axle (500047) between the mounting brackets (500259).
4. Place the springs (500809) inside the mounting bracket (500259) with eye of the spring towards the front and the flat side towards
the back of the trailer. Secure the spring to mounting bracket with the 9/16 hex bolts (501065) and 9/16 lock nuts (501066) using 7/8 sock-
et and wrench. Do not over-tighten as there needs to be movement in the spring. Do this for both sides
5. Place the first U-bolt (500814) around the axle. Line up the leaf spring mount plate (500260) with the oval holes running in the same
direction as your leaf spring. Hand-tighten with the 3/8 locking nut (501031). Repeat for all other U-bolts (500814)
6. Secure all the U-bolts with a 9/16 socket.
7. Using two people, flip the frame.

PASO 3 – Montaje del eje
1. Con el perno cabeza de hongo de 3/8 x 3/4 (501036) y la tuerca de bloqueo de 3/8 (501031) fije el soporte de montaje para muelle de ho-
jas (500259) en los agujeros cuadrados a cada lado del tráiler. Use para ello el casquillo de 9/16. Los agujeros redondos de los soportes
deben ser orientados cerca el centro.
2. En las partes en que el travesaño transversal no coincida con el área de fijación del soporte para montaje, utilice una arandela de 3/8
(501032) como separador.
3. Coloque el eje (500047) entre los soportes de montaje (500259).
4. Coloque los muelles (500809) en el interior del soporte de montaje (500259) con el ojo de los muelles hacia el frente y el lado pla-
no hacia la parte trasera del tráiler. Fije el muelle al soporte de montaje con los pernos hexagonales de 9/16 (501065) y las tuercas
de bloqueo de 9/16 (501066), usando para ello un casquillo de 7/8 y una llave inglesa. Debe haber movimiento en los muelles, así que
asegúrese de no apretar demasiado. Realice el mismo procedimiento en ambos lados.
5. Coloque el primer perno en U (500814) alrededor del eje. Alinee la placa de montaje para eje del muelle (500260) con los agujeros
ovales siguiendo la misma dirección de los muelles de las hojas. Ajuste a mano con la tuerca de bloqueo de 3/8 (501031). Repita el
procedimiento con todos los pernos en U (500814)
6. Fije todos los pernos en U usando un casquillo de 9/16.
7. Con ayuda de otra persona, dele la vuelta al chasis.
¡ATENCIÓN! SE REQUIEREN DOS PERSONAS PARA DARLE LA VUELTA AL TRÁILER
