1) SAFETY
This manual has the purpose to guide experienced people about installation, operation and maintenance
of Power Source LAB 320 - 475. DO NOT allow non qualified personnel to install, operate or repair this
equipment.
You must read and understand all information in this manual.
Remember that:
2) DESCRIPTION
2.1) General description
LAB 320 and LAB 475 are power sources with characteristics of constant voltage projected to industrial
welding through MIG/MAG process.
LAB 320 allows welding with tubular and solid wires of carbon steel or other alloys of up to 1.60 mm
diameter, stainless steel, aluminum alloys and other metals.
LAB 475 allows welding with solid wires of carbon steel or alloys of up to 1.60 mm diameter, tubular wires of
up to 2.40 mm diameter of stainless steel, aluminum alloys and other metals. It can also be used for light
applications of submerse arc process.
The empty voltage, and consequently the arc voltage are adjusted in continuous way through a crank which
allows obtaining, with precision, the welding voltage value needed for any application within the current
range.
The inductance which is destined to adjust dynamic characteristic of the power source of MIG/MAG energy
when working with short circuit transfer has the same continuous adjustment which provides excellent
working conditions to the operator.
