1-1 SCOPE

This manual describes the procedures for safe installation, operation,
maintenance, service and disposal of the Metrolab Precision Teslameter PT2026.
The latest version of this document can be downloaded from our web site (see
Section 1-3).
The User's Manual, "NMR Precision Teslameter PT2026 User's Manual,"
describes the installation and operation of the software, as well as technical
details concerning the instrument's computer interface and software driver. This
document is provided in electronic form with the instrument, and can also be
downloaded from our web site (see Section 1-3).

1-2 INTENDED USE

The Precision Teslameter PT2026 is a magnetometer, used to very precisely
measure the flux density ("field strength") of strong magnetic fields.
