3. Determine the trigger mounting position.
To achieve maximum pattern setting flexibility, the
distance between the center-line of the trigger and
the adhesive orifice, referred to as the gun-trigger
offset (X), must be:

At least / the length of the longest product

run on the line.

No greater than the length of the shortest
product run on the line.
4. Mount the trigger using the hardware provided with
the trigger.
For the diffuse trigger (P/N 340 277):
S
The face of the trigger should be parallel to the
background and exposed to the most reflective
surface of a passing product.
For the Retroreflective trigger (P/N 340 274):
S
Mount the reflector provided with the trigger on
a solid surface directly opposite the location of
the trigger.
S
The trigger should be positioned so that its
beam will cross the path of the product and
strike the reflector at a right angle.
