- Disengage the bead pressing roller. (Fig. 25)
- For easier bead coupling, it could be necessary to slightly rotate the turntable.

9.5.c. Upper bead demounting
- Check that the tool is correctly coupled with the tyre bead.
- Operate the control valve to get the machine ready for the subsequent de-
mounting operation (performed with the wheel at a standstill and not rotating) (Fig. 26).
- Make sure that the tyre has not beaded in on the operator's side.
If necessary, use a bead clamp and/or the bead pressing device.
