Problem
1. No light on

Probable Cause
a. No 1/18 Volt input
b. External fuse blown on
power controller
c. Transformer fuse blown
a. Low salt content - cold water
below 15° C (59° F) refer
to section 7, Step 1
b. Clogged cell
c. Suction leak
d. Electrode is worn
a. Pool pump not running
b. Leaf trap or filter blocked
c. Suction air leak
d. The weir suction line blocked
a. Air in the cell housing
b. Water flow is too little
Suggested Solution
a.
Check that the power is
connected and that the
transformer is switched on
b.
Replace external fuse.
If fuse trips persistently,
return power supply and
cell to manufacturer.

blank electrode holder (6)
supplied)

Replace transformer fuse
a. Add salt
b. Clean cell
c. Repair leak in the pool
system e.g. pool cleaner
hose, o-ring in pump etc.
d. Replace electrodes
a. Only works with flow through
cell
b. Clean filter basket
c. Repair leak
d. Unblock suction line
a. Clean leaf trap
b. Check for suction leak
Turn electrode holder so
that the gas sensor pin is at
the highest water level.
Replace pump.
