What To Do
• To turn from the OFF position, push the knob in
and then turn. The knob can only be turned in a
counterclockwise direction. When the knob is at any
other position, it can be turned in either direction
without being pushed in.
• Turn knob in clockwise direction to turn fan on.
• Check connections. Turn on power at the fuse box.
• Clean filter per instructions.
• Open a window slightly to provide fresh air source.
• Remove blockage from exterior wall cap.
• Check exterior wall cap damper door for free movement
or obstruction.
• Reduce number of elbows to simplify duct run.
• See the Cleaning the glass cooktop section.
•Be sure cookware bottoms and cookware are clean
before use. Use cookware with smooth bottoms. Tiny
scratches are not removable but will become less
visible in time as a result of cleaning.
• Marks from aluminum and copper pans as well as
mineral deposits from water or food can be removed
with the cleaning cream.
• This is normal. The surface may appear discolored when it
is hot. This is temporary and will disappear as the glass cools.
• See the Cleaning the glass cooktop section.
• Use recommended cleaning procedures.
• See the Glass surface—potential for permaent damage
section in the Cleaning the glass cooktop section.
• Call a qualified technician for replacement.
