so the V-belt slot faces
the wheel side of the
cabinet.
4. Secure the left
and right panels to
the cabinet supports
with (20) #10-24 x
3⁄8" flange screws, as
shown in Figure 4.
NOTE: The two holes
on the left panel be-
low the dust chute
slot should face down.
5. Carefully place the
cabinet on its left side,
and secure the dust
chute to the top plate
flanges and left panel
with six M6-1 x 12
flange bolts, 6mm flat
washers, and M6-1 hex
nuts (Figures 5 & 6).

6. Thread the leveling
feet with the hex nuts
into the holes in the
bottom of the mobile
base chassis, as shown
in Figure 7.
7. Bolt the wheel assembly to the stand with
the provided hardware, as shown in Figure 8.

8. Back off the set screws on the motor pulley
and align the shaft key with the pulley keyway.

9. Slide the pulley
onto the motor shaft
so the pulley is flush
with the shaft end,
then tighten the set
screws, as shown in
Figure 9.
10. Place the motor
on the dust chute and
align the mounting
holes, making sure the
pulley faces the V-belt
slot (Figure 10).
11. Reach into the dust chute, thread four
5/16"-18 x 11/8" carriage bolts through the
chute and motor and secure with four 5/16-18
hex nuts and flat washers (Figure 11). Do not
fully tighten the fasteners.
12. Place the stand in the upright position and
adjust the leveling feet as needed with the hex
nuts so the cabinet rests level and stable on the
floor.
13. With the help of an assistant, place the
jointer table assembly on top of the cabinet
assembly, sliding the studs on the bottom of
the jointer table through the cabinet mount-
ing holes.
14. Fasten the jointer
table assembly to the
cabinet with the three
M10-1.5 hex nuts and
flat washers, as shown
in Figure 12.
NOTE: Reach inside the dust chute to secure
the stud on the right side.
15. Slide the motor up, place the V-belt around
the cutterhead and motor pulleys, then slide
the motor down to rest on the V-belt.
16. Check the alignment of the pulleys to make
sure that they are aligned and that the V-belt
is straight up and down, as shown in figure 13.
