PNI Escort HP 6500 can be operated as a mobile station in a car or with a suitable DC power
supply as a base station. This device complies with the latest European CB stan-dards. Due to its
selectable CB standards it can be used throughout Europe. Please select only a CB standard that
is allowed in the country of use.

* AM mode is active only for standards that support AM. If the radio is set to CE, short pressing
of the A / F button is not active. If the radio is set to UE, you can switch between AM and FM by
briefly pressing the A / F button. For details on changing the standard, see the chapter "Changing
