MAINTENANCE
To ensure correct operation over time, the appliance should be checked by
a quali ed professional at least once a year.

use abrasive solvents, powders or sponges.

clean the appliance or its component parts with highly ammable
substances such as :petrol, alcohol or naphtha.

REMOVING THE CASING
To remove the casing:
- disconnect the appliance from the power supply using the mains switch
- remove the screws A
- pull the casing forwards (B)
- lift the casing upwards (B), releasing it from the hooks at the top.

To open the instrument panel:
- remove the screws (C)
- pull the panel (D) out and release until it rests in a locked position.

6.1 Accessing the modulation circuit
board
First disconnect the appliance from the power supply using the mains
omnipolar switch.
- To access the electronics, remove the casing and open the instrument
panel.
- Remove the two screws (E).
- Remove the cover to access the board.
6.2 Dismantling and cleaning the burner
- Switch off the electrical supply by turning the system's main switch to "Off".
- Close the gas shut-off valve.
- Remove in the following order: casing, air distribution box cover and com-
bustion chamber cover.
- Disconnect the spark plug cable connection.
- Slide off the lower cable grommet from the housing of the air distribution box.
- Remove the burner xing screws and remove the latter with the spark plug
attached and corresponding cables.
- Clean the burner with a soft brush.
- Check and clean the nozzles on the burner manifold.
- Check the ignition/detection electrode and replace it if necessary.
Once the cleaning operations are nished, reassemble all the components,
following the above instructions in the reverse order.
Check that:
- the gas connection and the air distribution box are sealed
- renew the straps on the cable grommets to ensure there is a seal.

6.3 Dismantling and cleaning the heat
exchanger
- Switch off the electrical supply by turning the system's main switch to "Off".
- Close the gas shut-off valve.
- Close the system taps and drain the water heater.
- Remove the casing and open the instrument panel as described in chapter 6.
- Remove the front cover of the air distribution box by unscrewing the 4 xing
screws.
- Remove the front wall of the combustion chamber by unscrewing the xing
screws.
- Detach the connector of the NTC probe on the heat exchanger.
- Detach the 2 clips fastening the domestic water trains to the heat exchanger.
- Completely unscrew the nuts fastening the domestic hot water outlet and do-
mestic cold water input trains from the ow switch and from the connection
on the control panel.
- Remove the domestic water trains from the monothermal heat exchanger.
- Remove the monothermal heat exchanger from its housing and clean as
shown in the illustration
- Retrieve the NTC probe.
Once the cleaning operations are nished, reassemble all the components,
following the above instructions in the reverse order.
Check that the air distribution box is sealed.
