place them near a fire or hot surface. Even hot,
direct sunlight may cause them to explode.
• When loading batteries, make sure the tool
is turned off, then follow the + and - symbols
inside the battery chamber.
• If the tool is not used for more than two
weeks, remove the batteries and store them in
a dry place at 20°C (68°F) or below.
• Battery power tends to weaken as the tem-
perature drops. It also weakens after heavy
use, recovering gradually after a short break.
Power gradually decreases when batteries are
not used for a long time. Check battery power
before use; replace batteries with a new set be-
fore they are completely exhausted.
• Battery performance may differ with each
brand, due to modification in specifications or
improvement in performance.
Inserting / Removing The Batteries
Remove the screw lock with a slotted screw-
driver to release the battery cap. (Fgure 1)
To insert the batteries, slide out the battery
holder (Figure 3) from the battery compart-
ment (Figure 2) and insert the batteries with
the + and – terminals as indicated on the bat-
tery holder.
Replace battery holder in the battery compart-
ment following the arrow direction printed on
the label. Close the battery cap and tighten
the locking screw (Figure 4)
Installing the Camera Head Conduit Cable
Before use, the camera cable must be connect-
ed to the hand held unit. Ensure the female
din connector on the conduit cable is correctly

aligned with the male dine connector on the
hand held unit. (Figure 5)
Push the connectors together and finger tight-
en the cap by turning it in a clockwise direction.
To unlock it, turn it in an anti-clockwise direc-
tion. (Figure 6)
Switching The Camera On/Off
Press the button
to switch on the device.
(Figure 7) Press the buttons + / - to adjust the
camera LED lamp brightness. Press 'Snap' but-
ton
to capture the still image and 'Video'
button to start recording and stop record-
ing. (Figure 7)
At the rear side of the handheld device, press
the 'Zoom' button to enlarge the viewing im-
age up to 5 times. Press the 'Mode' button for
switching of preview and live-video. (Figure 8)
The left and right rubber covers are covered to
protect them from dust , water and chemicals.
Remove the cover on the side of the handheld
device to access the 12V DC in socket, Reset,
USB terminal and video out socket (Figure 9)
Remove the cover on the other side of the
handheld device to insert the Micro SD card for
image and video file storage. (figure 10)
