Installation, use and maintenance manual
 AUTOMATIC mode
This mode uses mainly renewable energy from
the heat pump and can activate the auxiliary
electrical resistors. The resistors are activated
where the water temperature falls below a set
level, or where a temperature of more than
60°C is required;
 ECONOMY mode
This mode uses solely renewable energy from
the heat pump without ever activating the
electrical resistors. This requires more time but
provides significant energy savings;
 OVERBOOST mode
This mode allows you to heat water quickly
using both the heat pump and the electrical
resistors. This function can be activated
manually when the temperature of the water
inside the storage tank is below 40°C. At the
end of the heating process, the function is
disabled automatically and the product reset
to Automatic or Economy mode, depending
on the previous setting chosen by the user.
 ANTI-LEGIONELLA mode
This mode is used as an anti-bacterial
treatment which works by increasing the
temperature of the water (>65°C). This mode is
activated automatically every 30 days,
regardless of the active operating mode;
 DEFOSTING MODE
This mode is required for removing frost
deposits that form and block heat transmission.
This mode is automatically activated when
operating in low room temperatures.
The first time you turn on the appliance you
will see that it has been pre-set by the
manufacturer to ECO (Economy) mode,
with a water setpoint of 55°C. This is to
guarantee maximum energy savings, using
only renewable energy sources. Please
note that by using this mode, users can
make an average energy saving of 70% as
compared with a standard electric boiler.
7.1.3

BASIC MANAGEMENT

7.1.3.1 Manually turning the appliance on
and off
