DDL addresses

The DDL address is set with the S1 switch. The
guidelines for setting the address can be found in
the DDL system specifications.

3.1 DDL mode

The DDL baud rate is set with the S2 switch. All
participants must be set to the same baud rate.

3.2 No function
The output data length is determined by the
hardware. The data length is set according to the
degree of expansion of the valve terminal system. A
valve terminal with 4 positions requires 1 byte, 8
positions 2 bytes, 12 positions 3 bytes, and a valve
terminal with 16 positions requires 4 bytes.
Switches cannot change position while the
device is running. Changes to switch positions
are only accepted after the device has been
switched off and on again.
3.3 Output data range in the pilot
control
The DDL address sets the position of the output data
in the data section of the DDL bus module and thus
sets the position in the address section of the pilot
control.
