  • Página 3 1. INTRODUCCIÓN AL SISTEMA DIGITAL GUINAZ. INTRODUCTION TO THE DIGITAL GUINAZ SYSTEM. The wiring of the digital Guinaz system is made up of a 3-wire bus for the audio and data signals and power supply, with which all the equipment of the installation can interconnect. These three wires can be of any type readily available in the market.

This camera will also be different according to the type of monitor installed in the dwellings: black and white, colour hands-free, or colour monitors with telephone (or colour EXPAND).
  • Página 6 2. CAPACIDAD DEL SISTEMA DIGITAL GUINAZ. CAPACITY OF THE DIGITAL GUINAZ SYSTEM. The digital Guinaz system can handle up to: • 63 External accesses. • 63 Main internal accesses. • 63 Secondary internal accesses per main internal access. • 255 Dwellings per main internal access.
  • Página 7 Apart from the main internal access (PIP), a maximum of 63 secondary internal accesses (PIS) and up to 255 dwellings can be connected to each internal dwelling bus, since the telephones/monitors can be configured with a number between 1 and 255. There may be several telephones or monitors in each dwelling, depending on the number of power supplies installed.

  • Página 11 WHEN INSTALLING THE STREET PANEL FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE UPPER AND LOWER COVERS MUST BE ASSEMBLED BEFORE CLOSING IT (SEE POINT 3.3). PRESS THE COVERS OVER THE FRAMES UNTIL THEY CLIP IN. THE UPPER AND LOWER COVERS CAN ONLY BE ATTACHED OR REMOVED WHEN THE STREET PANEL OPEN.
  • Página 12 The power for the system is supplied via the cables joining terminal blocks 1 and 2 of the power supply with terminal blocks 1P and 2P of the street panel audio control group. The communications bus is formed by the three cables leaving from terminal blocks 1M, 2M and 3M of the street panel audio control group, which will be connected, respectively, to terminal blocks 1M, 2M and 3M of the telephones in the dwellings.
  • Página 13 The connection of audio/data between the main internal and external accesses is made with the cables connected to terminal block 3P of each street panel. The cables joining the different terminal blocks 1P , 2P and 3P constitute the external bus of the street panels.

  • Página 18 The street panels of the two external accesses have a power supply. The equipment of the two blocks of dwellings has one power supply per block. The cables leaving terminal blocks 1 of power supplies must never be connected to each other. However, the cables leaving terminal blocks 2 of power supplies must be connected to each other as they are the ground for the system.

  • Página 28 7. PUESTA EN MARCHA Y SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS. START UP AND SOLVING PROBLEMS. This section explains the ways to solve incidents that may occur during the installation, maintenance and repair of digital Guinaz systems. However, our Technical Assistance Service is always available for you to solve any doubt or problem that may arise.
  • Página 29 Check the voltages in the following bushing insulators of the audio control unit: 1M – 2M = 17Vdc 3M – 2M = 17Vdc If voltages are correct and the problem persists, then the audio control unit might be broken. In the case that any of the above-mentioned voltages do not correspond to that indicated, disconnect cables 1M, 2M and 3M of the audio control unit and verify again.
  • Página 30 Check that the connection strap between the audio control unit and the camera is correctly connected. Verify correct configuration of the street panel (micro-switches of the audio control unit). Check that the installed cable complies with the following technical specifications: 75 ohm impedance coaxial cable or cat.
  • Página 31 If a direct current door opener has been installed, check the NO cables and – (GND) door opener connection, and that bushing insulators +12 and C are connected with a cable. In the case of these cables being correctly installed and in a good state, then the breakdown could be located in the door opener itself.
