Before each fault clearance
− switch off device
− wait for stop of chain saw
− apply the chain brake
− pull off the spark plug connector
− wear gloves
After each fault clearance, put into operation and recheck all security installations.

Removal
Observe the correct starting sequence
Clean or replace the air filter
Clean or replace the fuel filter
Clean or replace the spark plug
Fill the fuel tank. Bring the choke to the
correct starting position. Clean or replace
the fuel filter
Check the fuel line for kinks or damages
Replace the cranking rope: Replace the
recuperating spring
Screw off, clean and dry the spark plug.
Then pull the cranking rope several times
and reinstall the spark plug.
