Cleanup -
Before you begin cleaning
When cleaning the Renuvo, make sure to use the appropriate
cleaning solution for the type of material used.
• If you used latex-based materials, use warm, soapy water
to clean the Renuvo.
• If you used oil-based materials, use mineral spirits.
You will need
• Soft-bristled brush
To Clean the Container Parts
1. Unthread the container cap from the container.
2. Pull the tube (a) from its position on the container cap.
Rinse the tube with appropriate cleaning solution to flush
any material that may still be inside (you do not need to
pull the tubes apart to do this).
3. Clean the air valve (b) on the container valve (1) and the
container lid (2). Using the appropriate cleaning solution
and a soft-bristled brush, remove any material that may be
stuck to the air valve as shown.
iMpORTaNT: Do not attempt to remove this valve. This
valve allows air to enter the container, which then allows
material to flow out. Material will not flow from the pad
if this area is blocked, or if it gets removed and then
reinstalled improperly.
4. Clean the material valve (c). Allow cleaning material to
flow into the nose of the container cap. At the same time,
press the spring-loaded "+" valve in the cap. This will flush
any material that may be stuck in this area.
5. Once the air valve, material valve and the tube are clean,
reinstall the tube over the air valve. Wipe the interior of
the container cap with a dry rag in order to keep it as dry as
possible.
6. Thread the container cap back onto the container and
tighten firmly by hand. Replace the container onto the unit.
Note: Make sure the container is completely dry for storage.
