NOTE: If in RANDOM mode, when either button is pressed will take you to the next random track.
SEARCH
Use SEARCH to go to a specific track on a disc.
1. Press SEARCH to enter into the search screen.
2. Press and hold the SURR button (SURROUND) until SHF
flashes in the clock display. Numbers can now be entered
using the numbered buttons on unit or remote.
3. When the desired track number has been entered, press
ENTER (ENT on joystick) to go to the track entered. That song
will immediately begin to play.
Maximum Writing Speed and Bit Depth
The maximum speed of the CD ROM burner accepted by the RAV units is 40X. The maximum bit
rate range possible is 32kb/sec–320kb/sec. For best performance of scrolling display, before creating
a file system in your CDR burning program, select the CD layout properties menu and file system
tabs. Use JOLIET file format, this allows a maximum of 32 upper and lowercase characters.
NOTE: The display on the unit will scroll 32 characters of the song title from right to left.
NOTE: Make sure that when a MP3 CD is burned that it is formatted as a data disc and NOT as an
audio disc.
Programmable Titling
Programmable Titling is not available in MP3 mode.
