3. Set the desired temperature with the temperature control dial, min. 100°C and max. 190°C.
4. Switch on the appliance by setting the timer dial to ON.
ATTENTION: T he deep fryer will not switch on at a temperature set lower than 100°C.
ATTENTION: T he red power indicator light (12) turns on to indicate that the device is switched on.
The green temperature indicator light (12) turns on during heating and switches off
when the appliance is ready for use.
ATTENTION: D uring use, the green light turns on and off as a sign that the device is keeping itself
at temperature.
5. The green light will extinguish once the oil or liquid fat has reached the required temperature. The deep
fryer is now ready to use. Turn the timer dial to OFF.
OPERATION - Frying without timer function
1. Lift the frying basket's handle to the horizontal position until it locks into place (see figure 2). Lifting the
handle also raises the frying basket. Allow the frying basket to drain (keep the lid closed).
2. Press the lid release button to open the lid, take the frying basket out of the deep fryer and place it on a
plate.
3. Fill the frying basket with the desired food, max. 900 gr.
4. Put the frying basket back into the deep fryer. Leave the handle in the horizontal position. Close the lid.
5. Pull the lock in the handle towards you and lower the handle. The frying basket will be lowered into the
oil (see figure 3).
6. Set the timer dial to ON. The appliance will start frying.
7. Once you have finished frying, set the timer dial to OFF. The appliance will switch off.
8. Lift the frying basket's handle to the horizontal position until it locks into place. Lifting the handle also
raises the frying basket. Allow the frying basket to drain (keep the lid closed).
9. Press the lid release button to open the lid, take the frying basket out of the deep fryer and place the food
on a plate, preferably on a piece of paper kitchen towel that will absorb any excess liquid fat.
OPERATION - Frying with timer function
1. Lift the frying basket's handle to the horizontal position until it locks into place (see figure 2). Lifting the
handle also raises the frying basket. Allow the frying basket to drain (keep the lid closed).
2. Press the lid release button to open the lid, take the frying basket out of the deep fryer and place it on a
plate.
3. Fill the frying basket with the desired food, max. 900 gr.
4. Put the frying basket back into the deep fryer. Leave the handle in the horizontal position. Close the lid.
5. Pull the lock in the handle towards you and lower the handle. The frying basket will be lowered into the
oil (see figure 3).
6. Set the timer dial to the desired frying time. The appliance will start frying.
7. Once the selected frying time has been reached, an end signal sounds. The appliance will switch off.
8. Lift the frying basket's handle to the horizontal position until it locks into place. Lifting the handle also
raises the frying basket. Allow the frying basket to drain (keep the lid closed).
9. Press the lid release button to open the lid, take the frying basket out of the deep fryer and place the food
on a plate, preferably on a piece of paper kitchen towel that will absorb any excess liquid fat.
