• Keep the scales in a cool dry place,
rather than in a damp or hot place.
• Keep the scales in horizontal position
rather than vertical, as the batteries
may run down.
• Do not attempt to open the scales
to repair them, as this will nullify the
guarantee.
• Do not drop the scales on the floor or
jump onto them when you use them.
Avoid any knocks and do not shake
the scales, as they are a precision
appliance. Their structure is delicate
and sensitive to any external impact.
• If the scales do not work when you
switch them on, make sure a battery
has been inserted and that it has not
run down. Insert or replace the battery
and consult your supplier if necessary.
