OPERATION
This device is powered by 2 AA batteries.
The battery status can be checked by looking at the icon on the display as follows:
Battery has 100% of its energy.
Battery has approximately 60% of its energy.
Battery has approximately 25% of its energy.
Battery has less than 5% of its energy. Replace the batteries by following the procedure below.
Be careful! Make sure that the instrument is switched off before any maintenance or replacement of batteries.
If the instrument is not used for more than two weeks, remove the batteries and store them in a dry place away from direct
sunlight.
- Remove the battery cover;
- Replace the batteries, observing the polarity;
- Replace the compartment cover;
- Always use new batteries;
- Never mix new batteries with old ones; this will affect the performance of the instrument.
Install the batteries that come with the instrument. See the item "Installing/Replacing the batteries."
To turn on the LMXP-100 STARRETT laser distance meter, press the
